Clipless ® is used as a growth regulator on golf courses, meadows and lawns.
The mode of action of the active ingredient trinexapac-ethyl is the inhibition of the biosynthesis of gibberellins. This leads to morphological symptoms such as reduced grass height, reduced elongation of the basal or upper nodes of the treated plants, and increased stem diameter. Therefore, vertical growth is slowed down and root and lateral growth is favored.
In addition Clipless ® also contributes to the plants being more prepared to face stress situations (pre-conditioning treatments), and reduces competition when replanting is to be carried out, favoring the germination and development of new seedlings.
